This journal was the first volume of the IABU Journal was published, with the financial grant from Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya university, in time for the conference and summit in September 2008.

The issue of this journal indicates the determination, support and quality of the collaborations we have within the IABU family. This journal will make a significant contribution to the Buddhist Studies worldwide.
